What is Chiropractic and How Does it Work?
Chiropractic is a natural healing therapy based on science, healing arts, and the philosophy that all of us have an innate intelligence that organizes and carries out all of our vital body activities. Through traumas occurring in our lives (and traumas can be emotional, chemical or physical), our bodies become inundated with unprocessed information that causes energetic blocks. The blocks alter our natural healing flow and the inner communication of our innate intelligence. Chiropractic gently realigns the vertebrae in the spine so any stuck energy being held by misalignments can be released, and proper communication and healing abilities of the body are restored.
Dr. Sams uses the Activator Technique, the most widely used low force technique in the world. The adjustments are gentle, honoring, precise, and painless. With her chiropractic tools, Dr. Sams combines Homeopathic Medicine, a 200 year-old pharmaceutical science. Homeopathy and Chiropractic are a powerful healing duo for removing energetic blocks within the nervous system. Dr. Sams uses homeopathics that are FDA approved, non-toxic, water based, and safe to use with medications and natural healing therapies.
About Dr. Winn Sams
Dr. Sams brings Flow and Balance to her natural healing practice through her use of the Activator Technique and Homeopathy. A native of Charlotte with a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, Dr. Sams graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in 2002 as summa cum laude and valedictorian of her class. She and her three daughters enjoy the quality of small-town life in Columbus, having moved from Spartanburg in 2003 to establish her natural healing practice.
